Lawrence is an experience attorney who has represented hundreds of clients in federal court and state trial courts. Also in state courts of appeal in criminal cases. He has tried over 250 jury trials including capital cases on both state and federal white collar crimes, homicides, conspiracy and drug cases.

 Lawrence has served as a guest lecturer in law schools and has lectured on multiple topics at attorney continuing education courses. He has represented numerous high profile clients, including attorneys, a woman charged with the first capital crime in Northern District of Ohio in over twenty-five years. A number of his cases have been featured on nationwide television programs such as 48 hours, Dateline NBC and other national network programs.

Lawrence is active in his community and church. He and his wife have four children, one of which practices law with him.
